On 2 December 2024, the FAO Liaison Office in Brussels and Geneva and the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), organized a virtual event to launch the new FAO and UNECE publication, “Circularity Concepts in the Pulp and Paper Industry.”

This event explored the future of the pulp and paper industry through the lenses of circular economy and sustainability, featuring insightful presentations from industry actors and practitioners. The session also emphasized actionable steps for consumers to promote sustainable paper use, such as minimizing paper usage, opting for recycled and certified products, and facilitating recycling practices.
